Highlights from TripSpark’s First Annual Ignite User Summit

It’s been two weeks since we returned from our first ever User Summit. It’s back to reality for all of us, which means we’ve got to get our own drinks instead of having acrobats and donkeys serve us. And unlike the resort, you may not have swimming pools, golf courses and fire pits in your backyard (but if you do, we’d love you to invite us over!)

Check out our summit recap video to relive the experience or see what you missed out on if you didn’t attend.

Did you miss the 2016 Ignite Summit? Then you missed out on a lot of opportunities to expand your knowledge by participating in expert-led seminars and networking events with over 70 of your peers. We had learning sessions for five tracks – fixed route, paratransit, NEMT, K-12 education and ridesharing. No matter what type of agency or organization you’re with, there were learning opportunities specifically tailored to your needs. Participants had the chance to meet with their account managers and our technical team members face-to-face and gained a sneak peek at new software tools.

If you missed the Summit, you missed out on a lot of fun activities too! Such as:

1) Beer Burros!

What’s a beer burro? A big burrito served with beer? Wrong! A burro is a small donkey, and a beer burro is a donkey that serves beer. The beer burros were a big hit – for beer aficionados and lover of cute animals alike!

2) Aerialist Bartenders!

How does a bartender pour wine while hanging upside down? Good question. You’d have to have asked our aerialist bartenders how they learned their craft – if only you were at the Summit!

3) Fireside S’mores

TripSpark always makes sure chocolate lovers are fully covered. When we saw the fire pits at the Wigwam resort, we knew we just had to have a s’mores party.

We’ve barely wrapped up this year’s summit and we’re already looking forward to next year’s. The 2017 TripSpark Summit will take place November 5 -7 at Paradise Point, San Diego’s island resort. We recommend you mark it in your calendars now!
